They call it the 'American Dream' because you have to be asleep to believe it.

The American Dream is rooted in the United States Declaration of Independence which proclaims that "all men are created equal" and that they are "endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights" including "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

But there is also the American dream of a land in which life should be better and richer and fuller for every man, with opportunity for each according to his ability or achievement.

The American dream the "Dream of Abundance" offering an endless supply of material goods to all Americans, making them proud to be the richest society on earth.

People that embody the American dream is Henry Ford, Rockefeller, Trump, Gates, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, John F Kennedy, Michael Jackson, Andy Warhol, Walt Disney, Muhammad Ali , James Dean, and Barak Obama,
to mention a few.

Other symbols of the American dream is of cause Hollywood, the Coca Cola and the Ketchup bottle, the Campbell’s soup can, the Cadillac and the dollar bill, the colt 45 gun.

Events like and multinational companies like Apple, Kellogg’s, Walmart, Mac Donald’s, Good Year, Palm Olive, Exxon, Chevron, General Electric, Mobile etc. And events like the landing on the moon and the bill of rights. The American Dream is a phrase we'll have to wrestle with all of our lives. It means a lot of things to different people. I think we're redefining it now. In the end the American dream is just the dream of money.
