Commando Utopia - Sabotage art
When contemporary provocative artist couple Thomas Dellert –Dellacroix and Agnieszka Dellert-Dellfina attacks the world of art they do it under the ironic name of “COMMANDO UTOPIA” They are armed with weapons of Mass Construction and they embark on a anarchistic and pacifistic campaign of sabotage art, in a way that only intellectual terrorist can do. They do it with colors and music, poetry and ironic statements and always with a smile and a paint ball gun for fun in hand. They attack what they feel is boring, to one dimensional, to stagmatic, and much to pretentious. And at the same time they display themselves as targets for mass medial bullets. Their “ Artistic Manifesto “ is as much a matrix for their thoughts as well as for their actions. They see themselves as anti heroes , armed with a Bar of lethal Molotov cocktails made of equal doses, Fun, Fame and Fortune. They sharpen their pens, reload their arsenal of virtual missiles, and study carefully their invasion maps. Commando Utopia is a ART-Error organization with a contract to bring back the danger in art and to blow up the dictatorship of the art market. If you’re a gallerist out there, be prepared to be the next target.

ARTISTIC MANIFESTO
ON ART
Art is a CULTURAL UTOPIA.
It is our reality, necessity, resistance and hope.
The direction of contemporary art went from DADA to NADA.
We say NO to sterile, disinfected art scene. It is not a fertile ground for emerging culture. Contemporary Art still keeps the body but lost its soul.
Art should put up resistance to a nihilistic era of industrial consumption. Art is about quality not quantity. It’s about creativity and not innovative progress.
DIFFERENT IS NOT ALWAYS ART.
Originality of the artwork lies in the reason of creation. That’s why a true artist is a real masterpiece.
Art should play a key role in enriching the society’s level of culture. It should challenge mass medial manipulation-the propaganda of our times. Masses have many heads but no brain and no heart. Art is made by the alone for the alone.
ART scene resembles more a stock market than a true Bohemia. We demand shift on art scene from price level and gallery to artwork and artist. It is the art institution that educates the society, but the artist that educates the art institution.
Art is created by the mind not by the hand. It should be born from emotion and is meant to create an affecting link with the viewer. It’s not what you see but what you feel. Art is the gap, and we should “mind the gap”. And we should mind our mind.
ON FUNDAMENTAL NATURE OF DUALISM
True strength of art lies in a sense of balance, the union of creation and destruction, evolution and revolution, inspiration and information, expression and impression.
ON UTOPIA
Our artistic Utopia is a whole reduced to it’s essential.
There is many words to describe Utopia, but only one place to experience it.
ON SOCIETY
Liberté, Égalité, Creativité, Sexualité.
ON POLITICS
Coexistence, tolerance, pacifism.
There is no path to peace, peace is the path.
ON RELIGION
Art is our religion. Our faith comes trough experience.
Religion art and science come from the same God.
ON PEOPLE
To be or fake to be that is the difference.
ON MONEY
It is a myth that real artist should struggle and live in poverty. One can be creative, sensitive, spiritual and wealthy. Living on art feels much more appropriate, than dying for it. As artists we rather live rich than die poor.
When you buy our art remember that you pay for our vision, not our labour.
Art for art sake, money for god’s sake.
ON SUCCESS
Success in art is a by-product of creative passion.
ON FUTURE
In 15 min everyone will be an artist. (To stop it we have to give back art respect it deserves).
ON US
Our art is us, so therefore whatever we do is art.
We love ARTCORE!
