Skulls are popular in the art of many cultures, and it made me wonder about artists’ fascination with them. They have always appeared in art.
From art of the medieval times through art by Goya, Durer to Dali, Warhol and Picasso, and of course, more recently, we saw the diamond encrusted 18th-century skull by master capitalist Damien Hirst, For The Love of God.
