This is a new series of Pop Art works celebrating the achievements of African Americans through the 20th and 21st century. From Jazz, Rock and Pop and Rap singers, Civil rights fighters, Sport stars to Hollywood legends. Most persons chosen are from the entertainment industry but all of them are in the Black Hall of Fame as they all contributed to world culture like Black Stars lighting up the sky from within.

Im personally proud that I was fortunate to meet some of them on a personal level like Jimi Hendrix, Josephine Baker, Lena Horne, Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Muhammad Ali, Sammy Davis, Miles Davis, Ray Charles and Jean Michel Basquiat. My mother who was a famous singer met and sang for Martin Luther King at a UN gala in the 1960s.
